This blog arises from, and is about, living life; not in the self-help sense, but in the sense of noticing it, enjoying it, pondering it, chuckling over it, seizing it, tapping it on the shoulder as it whirls past and asking it to dance.

Perhaps you’ll enjoy the quirkiness of (insert his current title here) Porridge. Maybe the travel and tourist information will prove useful…or alluring. Something I say, or the way I see an issue or object, may echo your own thoughts or experiences.

Whatever, I hope you’ll find yourself as delighted or surprised as I am by what I encounter on my travels and at home.

Welcome to my worlds, both intimate and international.

PS Cuttlefish are molluscs, as are oysters. They have a skin colour-changing ability (including light displays) superior to all known animals and emit sepia (brown liquid) when alarmed. Their insides are pretty unusual too – blue-green blood, three hearts and a sophisticated doughnut-shaped brain. Their intelligence and friendliness mark them as a more than just a useful calcium supplement for pet weiros.

PPS Sometimes something weird happens when search results are shown: the ‘continue reading’ link does not appear. Click on the title for the full post.

I’m Justin of MomentMatters.com. I’m currently compiling a free e-book about the Greatest Articles and I’m featuring excellent comments. Your thoughts in “Single-Tasking Demanded” is a standout! I’m asking permission if I could include your words and name in the book?

    All the best,
    Justin G. Bautista

    • Hello Beeseeker. How lovely to receive your nomination – I’m very chuffed. Thank you.
I love your questions and will have to scrape together my limited knowledge on some of them (eg ghost stories). I am interested to read how the other recipients of your award answer.
